Who we are

This site, call.acquiredbythomas.com, is run by HireThomas, Inc. ("Thomas AI", "we"), a Delaware corporation at 1111B S Governors Ave Suite 90226, Dover, DE 19904, USA. Thomas is an AI. When you call, you speak with an AI voice agent, not a person.

What we collect

• Your email address, when you sign up or sign in. If you call while signed in, Thomas sees your email for that call only. If Thomas asks for it during a call, you type it into a box on the page and we send you a code. Thomas sees what you typed for that call only, and if you don't confirm it with the code, we delete it within an hour.
• Transcripts of your calls: the words spoken by you and by Thomas.
• A short summary of each call, call notes written from the transcript (what you told us, open questions and next steps), and notes on your profile, such as why we invited you.
• Basic call records, such as when each call started and ended and how many calls you made that day.
• Technical data such as your IP address and browser details, used to run the site, prevent abuse and apply limits.
• If you don't sign up, an anonymous ID stored in your browser, which links your calls on that device.

This site doesn't store recordings of your audio, but our voice technology provider may, as described below.

How a call works

Your microphone audio goes from your browser to our voice technology provider, which turns speech into text, generates Thomas's replies and produces Thomas's voice. Calls are transcribed. Our voice technology provider processes your audio to run the call and may keep a recording and transcript of it on its systems, under its own terms.

How long we keep it

• If you sign up: your call transcripts, summaries, call notes, profile notes and email address are kept with your account until you delete your data.
• If you don't sign up: everything from your calls is deleted after 30 days.

How we use it

• To run your calls and let Thomas continue your conversation with us.
• To sign you up and sign you in. We send sign in codes and links by email through our email delivery provider.
• After a call, an AI service reads the transcript and writes short call notes. We keep the notes with the call and send our team an internal summary by email.
• If you've confirmed your email, we send you one short email after a call, which may list what you told us during the call. Replies go to our team.
• To keep the site safe and within its limits.
• If you talk with us about selling a business, our team may read your transcripts and summaries and contact you by email about it.

Who we share it with

We don't sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run this site: our voice technology provider, the AI provider that writes our call notes, our hosting provider and our email delivery provider. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Your choices

• Email thomas@acquiredbythomas.com to delete your data. If you signed up, email us from the address you signed up with. We delete your saved calls, transcripts, summaries, call notes and profile from this site. This doesn't delete records kept by our voice technology provider.
• You can also email thomas@acquiredbythomas.com to ask for a copy of your data.

Depending on where you live, you may have other rights over your personal information. Email us to use them.

Cookies

We use one cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Children

This site is for adults. Please don't use it if you're under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page.
